About

Hi, I'm Will.

I'm a sound designer and audio programmer specialising in sound for games, interactive media and theatre.

I’m a massive believer in the power of sound to transport audiences right into the thick of their experience. That experience might be in the living room, a performance space or even the immersive world of virtual reality.

No matter the environment, I’ve been working with developers and directors since 2009, sharing my passion for recording, production and achieving just the right sound to suit each project’s vision.  I’ve worked on various projects including critically-acclaimed theatrical productions, indie video game titles and successful independent films.

I’m always keen to work with creative teams to help turn their sound ideas into reality. If you’d like to know more, then please get in touch below.

Wwise & Unity Tutorials

Youtube Series

A series of tutorials outlining best methods and practices for core game audio concepts when using Wwise and Unity 3D.

We cover an overview of core Wwise mechanics – including switches, states, 3D positioning, RTPCs, containers and dynamic routing – and their integration directly into the Unity 3D game engine.

Duelyst

Sound re-design

Developed originally by Counterplay Games and with audio provided from the fantastic team at A Shell In The Pit, I’ve taken my own style on this strategic turn-based title.

Check out a segment of gameplay with my own audio overlaid from the ground up.

KickPunch

Itch.io Game Jam Entry

KickPunch is an old school Beat-’em-up game. Get your fighting skills tested by defeating all enemies in this furious action game.

In-keeping with the Gameboy aesthetic, I produced the sound & music within these technical constraints as part of Itch.io’s Game Off 30-day jam.

Play it right here in the browser or hit the link below for more info.
